The Nike Air Force 1 was produced in 1982 and discontinued the following year. After it released Nike selected six basketball players to endorse, which method made this kinds shoe deeply rooted in basket sports. [3] It was re-released in 1986 with the modern italic Nike logo with a Swoosh on the bottom on the back of the shoe. Little has changed to the Air Force One since its creation in 1982, although the original stitching on the side panels is no longer present in modern versions of the shoe. The Air Jordan 1 isn’t the only retro classic to receive the polka dot treatment as Nike is dropping their own Polka Dot Nike Air Force Low WMNS. The Blacl/Swan Polka Dot Nike Air Force 1 Low WMNS features an all Black patent leather upper with Swan colored polka dots. The polka dot print also extends onto the laces and the midsole.
